Privacy Policy for Zproxima

Zproxima ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring the security of your cryptographic assets. This Privacy Policy explains how the Zproxima Chrome Extension ("Extension") handles data.

1. Information We Do Not Collect

We strongly believe in the principles of decentralization and self-custody. Therefore:

• No Personal Data: We do not collect, store, or transmit any Personally Identifiable Information (PII) such as your name, email address, IP address, or browsing history.
• No Analytics: We do not use tracking software, analytics tools, or telemetry to monitor your usage of the Extension.
• No Key Transmission: We never transmit your private keys, seed phrases (mnemonics), or passwords to any external servers, including our own.

2. Local Data Storage

All sensitive data required for the Extension to function is stored strictly locally on your device:

• Cryptographic Keys: Your private keys and mnemonics are encrypted and stored locally using Chrome's secure local storage API (chrome.storage.local).
• Preferences: User settings, active network choices, and custom token registry pairs are saved locally on your machine.

This data is accessible only by the Extension and is never synced to the cloud or our servers.

3. Interaction with Third-Party Services

To provide blockchain and Fully Homomorphic Encryption (FHE) functionality, the Extension communicates with specific third-party services. Only the minimum necessary technical data is transmitted:

• RPC Nodes (e.g., publicnode.com): The Extension queries public blockchain nodes to fetch token balances, contract states, and broadcast signed transactions. Your public wallet address is shared during these queries.
• Zama Relayers: For FHEVM operations, the Extension communicates with Zama's relayer network (relayer.zama.org) to fetch network permits and submit encrypted ciphertexts. No private keys are sent during this process.
• CoinGecko API: The Extension may query CoinGecko to fetch real-time fiat prices for public tokens.
• Companion App: The Extension communicates locally with the Zproxima companion web application (zproxima.vercel.app) to facilitate wallet bridging.

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

Because we do not collect any user data, we have no data to share, sell, or disclose to third parties, advertisers, or law enforcement.

5. User Control and Data Deletion

You maintain complete control over your data. You can permanently delete all information stored by Zproxima at any time by:

1. Uninstalling the Extension from your Chrome browser.
2. Using the "Disconnect" features within the Extension's settings to clear local storage.

6. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. Any updates will be reflected in the "Effective Date" at the top of this page.
